What we do

At She-her, we believe in utilizing all possible avenues to ensure effective implementation of the law. We connect the needs of the disempowered to the values of equity, fairness and inclusion. To achieve these aims, we provide legal aid on case-by-case basis, conduct strategic litigation and assist the court as an amicus curiae to provide an expert legal opinion on the law. We are also providing companies with detailed trainings on sexual harassment.

Legal Aid

Pakistan is a country where the legitimate interests of vulnerable individuals are severely unprotected. Our clients do not have access to resources such as effective legal representation. To bridge the gap to access justice, She-her provides pro-bono legal aid to these groups.
Strategic Litigation

Whereas we aim for our all cases to impact a change in the law or in the implementation of the law, we also conduct specific strategic litigation to create broader systemic change. These cases target human rights violations and social injustices through interpretation and implementation of the law. As part of our strategic litigation arm, we seek to empower women economically and socially through the law.
Amicus Curiae

We provide the High Court with our expert legal opinion when appointed as amicus curiae. This appointment involves exhaustive research on precedent, preparing detailed legal submissions and providing expertise and insight on issues involving a violation of fundamental rights or of the law.
