She-her or “sheher” means city in Urdu. It is a collective or a “city of women.” She-her was formed to provide women and vulnerable groups in Pakistan with a voice in the legal system and to impact strategic change in the laws that fail to protect them.
We started out providing legal aid on a case by case basis and the response was overwhelming. We now have a team of dedicated female lawyers that strive to promote the organization’s goals. These are women that have experienced and seek to fight the strategic imbalances in society.
